STREB EXTREME ACTION “returns” to The Joyce for the first time since 2002 with the program, MASSIVE ROTATIONS. The Joyce was an integral partner in STREB’s history, serving as the regular presenting “home” for the company throughout the 1990s. MASSIVE ROTATIONS is a celebration of the large-scale, intricately designed and engineered action machines STREB has become known for since establishing their home at SLAM, the STREB Lab for Action Mechanics in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2003. The virtual program features MOLINETTE and PLATESHIFT (2019), ASCENSION (2011), ROCKET/GIZMO,(2010) and REVOLUTION (2006). An associated artist talk featuring Elizabeth Streb will be available on the JoyceStream beginning Thursday, December 10.
