Hey guys welcome back! A few weeks ago it was Match Day, the day when thousands of medical students and doctors from other countries find out if they have been accepted at a residency position. In the weeks that follow match day they have to plan for possible moving to a new city and starting a new life. On top of that, on July 1st they will start roaming the hospital halls and being full blown doctors.

This can be rough. Long days, endless things to learn, intense amounts of pressure. Surviving the first year is exhausting and rough in every way. These are my top 10 pieces of advice to survive that first year. The things I wish someone had told me.
