Kelly Ripa REACTS To Mark Consuelos’ Birthday Joke On Live TV

Mark Consuelos is thankful Kelly Ripa was born! The former soap star turned 53 on Oct. 2 and celebrated her special day with her husband on their daytime talk show "Live with Kelly and Mark," and the "Riverdale" star had nothing but good things to say about his wife. "I am so glad that you were born. It has changed my life tremendously," he said. When Kelly jokingly asked what he would be doing if she hadn't been born, Mark had a clever response. "I'd be sad and lonely. Probably in a monastery somewhere," he said – and Kelly didn’t miss a beat! Mark not only gushed over his wife on-air, he also gave her some special love on Instagram. The father of three penned a sweet caption for his longtime partner alongside a series of pictures of the two, writing, "Another trip around the sun for the heart and soul of our family. Happy birthday sexy. We love you." Mark and Kelly met on the soap opera "All My Children" in 1995 and got married the following year. Since then, they have welcomed three kids together—26-year-old son Michael, 22-year-old daughter Lola and 20-year-old son Joaquin.
