Fishing for Warmouth which is also called Warmouth Perch, Stumpknocker, and Goggle Eye. I was fishing Ashippun Lake, a smaller lake in Waukesha County Wisconsin with Justin. He was also in the boat with myself and Kevin for the Shovelnose Sturgeon episode. The Warmouth is native to my area of Southern Wisconsin, but they are also found in the Mississippi River Basin and several watersheds in the Southeastern United States. This fish is number 13 in the series that I'll probably be working on until the day that I die. Warmouth have the Scientific Name Lepomis Gulosus. The goal in this series is to catch 1000 different fish species on video. The Warmouth can be caught the same way you'd fish for other panfish. I casted around a mini mite, but a bobber with a small hook and red worm would work, too.
