I built a simple bridge in the woods [axe only - 🪓]

Welcome to my latest bushcraft experiment where I take on the challenge of building a simple bridge inspired by the design of Leonardo Da Vinci. This project showcases my love for the great outdoors and my skills in using natural resources.

The design of the bridge is quite unique, as it doesn't require any nails or screws and can be built using only an axe. In this video, you'll see me take on the challenge of building this structure using only my axe and materials found in nature.

I start by selecting a spot for the bridge, where it is needed to cross a small creek. Next, I begin the process of felling and shaping the trees to create the main support beams for the bridge. I use my axe to carefully shape the wood and make sure that each piece fits well enough.

Once the main beams are in place, I lay down the crossbeams to create the decking. This part of the build is simple, as I only have to lay down the crossbeams and make sure they fit well enough together to ensure the bridge is stable and can support weight.

As the build progresses, I encounter a few challenges but I overcome them with my knowledge and experience.

Finally, after some hours of work, the bridge is complete. I test it out by crossing over it, and it holds up well. The final product is functional, and it serves its purpose.
