Stephen by Amy Cross - My favourite gothic horror book of the year! | Book Review

Stephen by Amy Cross. It's time for a review of what has to be simultaneously one of the best gothic horrors but one of the weirdest books I've read to date! When all the reviews said this was disturbing and not to read chapter 28, I just had to jump straight in there of course. I would advise checking the content warnings for this book but I didn't find it that disturbing. However, it's everything I wanted from a horror book and a brilliant read with one of the best twists I've come across in a long time.
