When is the best time to visit Saral Lake?

The lake gets accessible June till September. But the best time to visit is last week of July till third week of August, when nature awakens, with lambs & wild horses bouncing around the lush green fields, wildflowers blooming at their best & the earth seems to have come to the life again.

How do I get to Saral Lake?

There are three different hiking routes to access to the Lake;

i) Jalkhad to Saral Gali (Jalkhad Sharda Road) on a Jeep; Saral Gali to Saral Top & finally, from Saral Top to the picturesque Saral Lake; & return back to Besal via Dudipatsar Lake.

ii) Besal to Mulla Ki Basti; Mulla Ki Basti to Dudipatsar Lake; Dudipat to Saral Pass; from Saral Pass to Saral Top & finally from Saral Top to the Saral Lake & Return back to Saral Top, from Saral Top to Saral Gali & lastly, from Saral Gali to Jalkhad (Jalkhad Sharda Road) via Jeep.

iii) Sharda to Noori Top (Gumut National Park) via Sharda-Jalkhad road on Jeep; hiking from Noori Top to Saral Top & finally, from Saral Top to Saral Lake.
