Riding it on the Highway | Bajaj Pulsar N160 FAQ #5

One, manage your expectations. Despite the power bump over the P150, the N160 isn't the better highway bike. Its extra power doesn't give it real extra go at highway speeds in terms of cruising or overtaking. The P150 also stays refined and calm all the way to the redline whereas the N160 becomes thrashier near the redline which is not ideal for a motorcycle that's likely to ridden close to its limits at highway speeds.
Two, The mismatch between the front and rear suspension also makes twisty roads less confident than the P150. The N160 is a pretty confident, easy to handle motorcycle in the corners. But bring the P and ride them back to back and the P just feels nicer and more confident, albeit a smidge slower.
Three, Because the rear shock is stiff, we fully expect pillion-equipped N160s to behave better than average. But remember you're on a small bike and be extra cautious out on the highway.
