Link Acura homelink system to garage in 3 minutes or less

No bs, straight to the point, first time doing it actually.

2006 acura tl homelink system with a genie (intellicode) rolling code garage system. Page 158 of car manual has all steps for rolling codes. You don't need to unplug your garage system like it says in the manual. I did this in my garage, doing it anywhere near the garage would work as well.

Step 1: reset all code, press and hold left most and right most button at the SAME TIME until led flashes

Step 2: (you must do this in close proximity to the homelink system) press and hold garage remote button and homelink button (whichever you want to set) at the SAME TIME until the slow flashes turn into fast flashes. (I showed in the video after this step, i tried pressing the homelink button and it did not open my garage, instead just flashed rapidly. This means you have a rolling code system, like it says in the manual)

Step 3: open the plastic casing on the garage opener (in my case my training button was in the plastic casing, there are tabs at the top that you push in away from the garage door)

Step 4: (you will have 30 seconds to do the next 2 steps, as stated in the manual) press the training button, you will know it's the training button because an led will start to flash when you press it.

Step 5: go back in the car and start to press and hold the button you want on the homelink system for 3-4 seconds until the garage door opens (in my case it took 3 times until it opened the garage door)
