Loft Layout Extension - Part 1 - Baseboards and Backscenes

The time has finally come to extend the layout. I’ve added two baseboards; the first of which will include another stretch of country side, before the line splits off into two as it rounds the corner. As for the second board I’m still undecided, but the current plan is for the far line to run through a tunnel entrance and into a hidden fiddle yard. The yard will be hidden behind some sort of scenic storage or industrial sidings and embankment, in the style of Phil Waterfeild’s Malham layout, allowing some more operational interest and allowing the whole extended stretch to be scenic. Other options would be a a mainline connection.
