Here is a cozy, comforting list of books to read while you're stuck at home in self-isolation during this weird, awful time. I picked books that I felt were thought provoking, or somehow in the ~theme~ without being too on the nose or too heavy in theme. I know a lot of you might be having an anxious time (and I'll admit, I am too.) Lots of us turn to books for comfort, myself included. So that's exactly what these books, for me, do :) Or they make me think. Or cry. All of these are useful.

So here are some of my favourite books; if a friend walked up to me and asked for recommendations and I had no idea what their tastes were, these are exactly the eight books I'd tell them to read.

I hope you're okay. A lot of people are suffering. A lot of people have lost loved ones, or homes, or jobs, or family businesses or whole careers. Take care. I hope we all get through this really soon.
