Whew! My foot is throbbing as I type this lol…I finally was

A few years ago I went to a podiatrist with foot pains. She immediately told me bunions and the only way to correct it was by surgery. I thought that was a little drastic so I sought out 2-3 other opinions until I landed on my now podiatrist. His approach was non invasive to see if we could hold off on surgery. I tried injections, inserts, etc and after 2 years of working with him we decided that we had tried all solutions and surgery was the next step. The timing was perfect as I work from home and have a more flexible schedule. If I had the operation while I was flying I would have to take a very long leave from work.

On September 19, I checked in for my bunionectomy.
I was able to go home that afternoon.
