Elcid (Robin Padilla) and his buddy, Tembong (Dennis Padilla), decided to got to Manila to search for greener pastures in Manila. There, they met Mang Nonong and his adopted children. The two stayed with him. In many instances, Elcid saved Gelli de Belen from various mishaps but it was her sister who showed gratitude by hiring the two as her bodyguards. Elcid got involved in the street fights set-up by the henchmen of Don Ricardo and was always in the victory. Don Ricardo was kidnapped and discovered that Glenda was the mastermind of the kidnapping.
