The golden door is a notion that was told to me by my teacher Asha years ago. It’s in regards to a choice that we all come to in life. when a serious crux point of pain takes place, do we turn cold and bitter toward the world and shell ourselves into a smaller expression? Or do we remain open to the curiosity of experience and grant ourselves the offering of new wisdom to walk forward into the unknown? That is the golden door. My father did this many times in his life.

His voicemail in the beginning was from back in July. He was checking in on my solo trip to California after Sufi camp.

This video was taken at the Lama foundation in their bear hermitage in 2021.

My heart has been in a dim light for a while now, but the golden door is opening. I hope we can all walk through it together. I’ll see you on the other side. Enjoy 💛
