Dance Week Santa Cruz 2024: SWINGOUT

Swingout Santa Cruz is an all-volunteer collective of swing dancers in Santa Cruz for all things swing! They opened their doors in November of 2014 and their mission is to grow a friendly, talented, fun, diverse and inclusive swing community.

Whether you dance East Coast, West Coast, Lindy Hop, Charleston, Jitterbug, Balboa, Collegiate Shag or Blues you will find music, a welcoming community and dancers of all styles.

Swingout offers lessons of all levels and various styles when possible, plus social dances with great ambiance. Come Join their monthly event on Second Saturday evenings in Santa Cruz.

For 15 years, Santa Cruz dancers have hit the streets of downtown for Dancing in the Streets. Presented by Motion Pacific, Dance Week (April 18-25, 2024) also includes access to nearly 100 dance classes for the price of a $20 pass.

Dance Week kicked off with a celebration of the joy of dance and the strength of our community through an unforgettable afternoon of free performances in the heart of Downtown Santa Cruz from 5:00 pm-9:00 pm.
