In today’s episode of Figuring Out, we have Prashant Desai in conversation with Raj Shamani. He is a longevity sherpa who has studied at Stanford School of Medicine and Harvard Medicine School. A few weeks back, we did a health-related podcast with him, which got an overwhelming response so this episode covers his journey with top personalities of India like Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and Kishore Biyani.

In this episode, we talked about his journey of growing up in poverty and how he met Kishore Biyani. He shared the mindset of Kishore Biyani which led him to create millions of dollars and how Kishore Biyani grew brands like Big Bazaar and Pantaloons. He also shared the lessons he learned from Kishore Biyani which we can use in our lives to grow a successful business. He then shared how he met Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and what was so unique about him that he is so known in his industry.

Towards the end, he shared the journey of his failed startup and what he learned when that brand didn’t work. He then shared stories of how Kishore Biyani grew the market cap from 52Cr to 2200Cr in just a few years and why Kishore Biyani faced downfall.
