Thailand was absolutely booming in the 1990s.... and then came the 1997 Asian financial crisis. This left many developments unfinished, such as Bangkok's ghost towers. Based on a plan to build a road bridge from Bangkok to Phetburi in the 1990s, many investments were made. Here are three of the many abandoned resorts, projects and small towns on Thailand's Royal leisure coast.
