The Middle East's top 25 mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) contractors have been revealed, with an Indian business leader topping the list this year.

The first half of the list is dominated by well-established and recognised MEP contractors, such as Voltas, Alemco, JLW, Al-Futtaim Engineering, BK Gulf, and Arabtec subsidiary, EFECO. However, newer firms, such as Smart MEP Solutions, have also broken into the ranking this year.

In this episode of Construction Week In Focus, Oscar Rousseau, deputy editor of Construction Week, and Rajiv Pillai, editor of MEP Middle East, dissect the Top 25 MEP Contractors 2018 list, and explain the 'Darwinian' trend that the regional MEP sector appears to be following this year.
