the UTAU voicebank used in this video's version of Dance Delightful's audio was made with RVC, and was created without the full knowledge or permission of the inference data's owner.
essentially, adachi rei's vocal qualities were mapped onto those of an UTAU not cleared for commercial usage.
audio on streaming and bandcamp will be updated to use a newer, ethically sourced, properly licensed version of adachi rei's voicebank as soon as i am able (this may take some time, things are complicated behind the scenes). this video will remain using the old audio, but will have monetization turned off.
if the technical details don't make sense to you... basically the fuckface responsible for this variant of adachi rei made it using resources they weren't allowed to use and lied about it through omission, so her voice will sound ever so slightly different on streaming going forward. don't worry too much about it, this stuff is complicated.
relatedly, if you make original music with UTAUs, or any vocal synth for that matter, make sure and quadruple check the licenses on the voicebanks you use 🫥
