Rit Dye vs. Duplicolor Fabric Dye to Change the Color of Your Car’s Seats

Here are the reasons you should use Duplicolor Fabric Dye to change the color of your fabric seats:

Readily accessible at local auto parts store.
Permanently changes the color of the fabric.
Will not make the fabric crusty and hard when applied correctly (follow instructions on the can).
Will not stain your clothes if you clean them properly afterwards.

Rit dye is not advertised for automotive application, as far as I know. I did want to give it a try to see the difference between these two products. As I found out, Duplicolor’s product works as stated on the can. It now has my recommendation to anyone I get the chance to tell! Good job Duplicolor, as if you didn’t already know that! Haha.
