01:20 Diana: is a goddess in Roman mythology, considered a patroness of the countryside, hunters, crossroads, and the Moon. She is equated with the Greek goddess Artemis, and absorbed much of Artemis' mythology early in Roman history.
03:22 Actaeon: in Greek mythology, son of the priestly herdsman Aristaeus and Autonoe in Boeotia, and also grandson of the hero Cadmus, was a famous Theban hero.
13:51 Poesie: The concept of a thematic group, or cycle, of large paintings, was probably conceived when Titian and Philip met for the first time in Milan in 1548. Titian used the term ‘poesie’ for the paintings because he regarded them to be visual equivalents of poetry.
