Glocks Why Nots? - A Historian's Take On 'Perfection'

With all of the talk about the new Gen V and G19X, it was time for us to finally do something with Glock pistols. Since this is channel Mishaco, in this video we approach the series from a historical, developmental, and military service point of view.
We talk about what the Austrian Army was issuing before the Glock 17, how the new pistol was designed, and then get into other militaries that have adopted it over the years. Then we briefly go over the various generational changes.
To keep this video from dragging on too terribly long, we focus on the original 9x19mm series.

Featured is an original G17 Gen I, compact G19 Gen II, earlier G34 Gen III, late production G19 Gen III, and G17 Gen IV which is my stand-in for a British L131A1.
Also, a WWII Nazi-German Walther P.38 and a Belgian FN HI Power show up as bonus content.
