VIDEO CONTENTS:
[0:00] Introduction
Presoak in plain tap water
[1:26] Steam Pan 8 cups of water + 4T white vinegar
[2:37] The dye colors: Sour Apple, Purple Pop, Saphire Blue, True Turquoise and Bright Aqua
[2:56] Dyeing the first 3 skeins of yarn (300 g total in one pan). Adding Dharma "Frozen" to the mix
Add on more water after dye has been applied to the yarn (8 cups water + 1/2 cup vingar (8 tablespoons)
Heat for 15 min. (Note: It took 15- 20 or so min to apply all the dye to the yarn)
[18:58] Storing the dye for future use
[19:16] Yarn mop time!
Let everything cool down completely in the pan
[21:02] Cooled and ready to wash
[21:21] washing the yarn
[25:16] troubleshooting the bleeding (pink bleeding while hot, blue while cold)
Put the yarn in a ton of vinegar. 12 cups water + 4 cups white vinegar. Heat the yarn to simmer the rinsed yarn in here for at least 20 min and let the pot cool completely.
The pot was clear! Bleeding stopped!

To solve bleeding - add a lot of water and vinegar to bring it to full immersion to heat for a while and then let it cool down completely in the pot.

I learned (in the next video) purple pop has to cool completley to stop bleeding. will bleed again in hot water. Heat extra to set the blue then let cool completely.
