Practical Menswear Style Journey

Wherein I go as far in depth as seems reasonable given the topic and the options available.

...and don't totally dwell on the FIFTH SEASON, either.

That one Buchanan necktie I show is technically a MUTED palette tartan but is also a fairly poor sample overall as I mentioned. Mostly they are characterized by Red-Violet or Magenta instead of Red, which either looks great or inauthentic depending upon the pattern?

Due to the nature of color variations from one fabric run to the next and one tartan woolen mill to the next, don't expect them all to look exactly the same as shown here, and also take into account that different weights of fabric can have further variations, etc. Just as I can't show every single tartan, I also can't show samples from every single mill, but I think I showed some wool ones from four different mills already and then some acrylic things for pretty broad range.

BUT, as I discussed in a previous vid more focused on the issue with accessories, the mills themselves will intentionally include variations from the kilt fabric TO the accessories, so I don't know if the Locharron tie and the kilt will even match EACH OTHER correctly, as maybe I mentioned but feel like I should clarify. And that Buchanan tie I got from a DIFFERENT company than the kilt but they were actually a much closer match if only the pattern had been better laid out. Luck the Draw...
