How Did Darth Revan Meet His Downfall?


Like Vader, Revan is best described as conflicted, with it having profound implications both on his life and his death. After the events of the Old Republic, Revan was captured by Sith Emperor vitiate who held him as a prisoner for over 300 years. After escaping, Revan was taken out by an imperial strike team. However, when he became one with the force, something very strange happened; his spirit split in two between the dark and the light. The dark part of Revan manifested himself in the physical realm, raising an army of cultists to raise vitiate from the dead just to kill him once again. A coalition of Jedi and Sith rose up to stop him, believing Revan was not powerful enough to defeat vitiate. Revan was eventually defeated and convinced to merge with his light side self, allowing him to become one with the force.
