ॐ श्रीगणेशं विध्नेशं विवाहार्थे ते नमः।
oṁ śrī-gaṇeśaṁ vighneśaṁ vivāhārthe te namaḥ

oṁ – the sacred, all-pervading sound
śrī- – an honorific, “glorious, blessed”
gaṇeśam – Ganesha (Lord of the hosts, deity of wisdom and auspicious beginnings – accusative case)
vighneśam – Lord of obstacles (another name of Ganesha)
vivāhārthe – for the purpose of marriage, concerning marriage
te – to you
namaḥ – salutations, bowing down, reverence


“Oṁ, salutations to Ganesha, the Lord of obstacles, I bow to you for the purpose of marriage.”

This mantra is often recited before or during Hindu wedding ceremonies to remove obstacles, invoke blessings, and ensure harmony and prosperity in marital life.
