NATIONAL KID (Episode 1)

This is the story of National Kid, a superhero who came to Earth from Andromeda, 30,000 light years away. On Earth, he assumes the identity of Ryusaku Hata, a scientist who fights evil with the help of the Boy Detectives. The story consists of four arcs, told over the course of 39 episodes. In Part 1, Kid fights the Inca Venusians—descendants of the Inca Empire—when they launch a pre-emptive attack on Earth. In Part 2, Nercon, the Undersea Demon King, wages war on land-dwellers, forcing Kid to take on the Coelacanths, the Undersea People. In Part 3, Kid foils the Underground People’s plan to take over the surface of the Earth. In Part 4, Kid teams up with Taro, an emissary from Planet Magellan. Together, they put an end to the Underground People and their second attempt at world domination. *Please note that “Part 1, The Incan Invasion: The Strange Flame of the Uraton Stone” only has a runtime of about 16 minutes due to film decay.
