STORYLINE:
South Korea's President Lee Jae Myung visited the American Hanwha Philly Shipyard in Philadelphia on Tuesday to share remarks with United States officials on the goal of "Making American Shipbuilding Great Again."

The vessel, State of Maine, will be received by the Maine Maritime Academy.

The ship will have space for up to 600 cadets and feature instructional spaces.

"Just as the shipbuilding industry in Korean history was a name of growth and opportunity, dreams and hope for many Korean youths, Philly Shipyard will also be remembered by American youths in the same way," Lee said.

In addition to training, State of Maine is outfitted with hospital facilities, a helicopter pad, and storage for the transportation of humanitarian assistance and disaster relief supplies.
