1 tsp light brown sugar

180 g potatoes starchy varieties like Russet or Yukon Gold
½ tbsp butter
2 tbsp whole milk room temperature
⅛ tsp salt
dried parsley
ground black pepper

Toppings
toasted sesame oil
finely chopped green onions
Japanese chili powder (shichimi togarashi) or red pepper flakes
