United payments interfaces or UPIs are widely popular in India and the apps like Gpay, Paytm, Phone Pe and Amazon are widely used by millions of people for the transactions.

Wallets like paytm wallet and Amazon pay are used by many and as per the new charging structure merchants have to pay a interchange transaction fee of up to 1.1% for the transactions.
