Did a land based mission today fishing a couple spillways after a storm came through Southeast Florida. I really only had my line wet for about an hour until another Florida Summer storm came through. These fish are built different. The way they thump your bait, fight, and their thickness is unmatched. Caught em today on a 1oz white and blue First Light jig letting it get as close to the bottom while keeping contact with the bait.
