His first season over three miles - and what an impact! The amazing Kauto Star, having won the Betfair Chase from Beef Or Salmon, then dropped back to two miles to take the Tingle Creek, before coming back up in trip to win this first of five King Georges in emphatic fashion. By the end of the season, he'd bagged the Gold Cup too and a £1million Betfair-backed bonus for connections.
