"Emotions: 24 reflections" is another composition in the series combining rhyming text with musical miniatures. The idea sprouted in 2023, before the 48th International Viola Congress in Salaya (Thailand), when I wrote English limericks. In the summer, I added a Polish version and handed it over to the Poznań composer Dr. Alina Kubik, who at the turn of 2023 and 2024 transformed the substantive textual content into an emotional musical layer for solo viola. And since this is not our first project together (and probably not the last one?), looking at the end result, I am convinced that the whole thing captured the spirit of our times: short, fast, specific and to the point. And - with surprises, but you'll have to see for yourself ;-)

"Emocje: 24 refleksji" to kolejna z cyklu kompozycja łącząca rymowany tekst z miniaturami muzycznymi. Pomysł zakiełkował jeszcze w 2023 roku, przed 48 Międzynarodowym Kongresem Altówkowym w Salayi (Tajlandia), kiedy napisałem angielskie limeryki. Latem dopisałem wersję polską i przekazałem całość poznańskiej kompozytorce dr Alinie Kubik, która na przełomie 2023 i 2024 przekuła merytoryczną zawartość tekstową w emocjonalną warstwę muzyczną na altówkę solo. A ponieważ nie jest to pierwszy nasz wspólny projekt (i chyba nie ostatni, tej?) to patrząc na efekt końcowy jestem przekonany, że całość uchwyciła ducha naszych czasów: krótko, szybko, konkretnie i na temat. I - z niespodziankami, ale to już musicie się o tym sami przekonać ;-)
