After attending the negotiations with the council of the Republic of Dhalmekia, Benedikta Harman—the Dominant of the Eikon Garuda, and Commander of the elite Royal Intelligencers of the Kingdom of Waloed—was subsequently sent by her liege lord to lead a secret incursion into the lands of the Holy Empire of Sanbreque to pursue and capture the mysterious Hooded Man—the same individual Clive Rosfield had seen during the murder of his brother that fateful, nightmarish evening at Phoenix Gate.

After Benedikta incapacitated Cid in their duel, Clive followed the dangerous Warden of the Wind atop the tallest tower of the castle, resulting in a cruel clash and a staggering discovery.
