Описание к видео Forza Horizon 3 PC - 2015 BMW i8 [S1 Class] Online Race & Top 10 Rivals (Rockstar Energy Pack)

Forza Horizon 3 PC multiplayer online adventure race gameplay with the 2015 BMW i8 from the Rockstar Energy Car Pack DLC, just released after a 72 hour delay for the PC version. In this video, I'm showing the car's performance in S1 Class 900 PI in 3 online adventure races, 1 collision off and 2 collision on as well as getting Top 10 in the Rivals Leaderboard for the Street Race Rivals Beachside Blast. The BMW i8 earned many nicknames for being a glorified Toyota Prius, so how well does it perform with it's hybrid engine in this game? The BMW i8 build shown as 617 horsepower and 591 ft-lb torque from it's electric motor and and 1700cc (displacement up) I3 turbocharged engine.

Search "grandma driving" at the creator tab for this tune. I want to say that you will notice there are 2 tunings if you search my name, one is the default engine shown in this video, and the other is the 3.0 Racing V8 engine swap which I've made after this video which is the BEST upgrade path for the BMW i8. I did not feature the V8 swap because I will always stick to the default engine and stock rims to make the video as I prefer to keep the originality of the car. But the reason I've made that V8 tune and share is because there were certain... claims on the BMW i8 being rubbish (even with V8 swap). So I had to put that V8 tune out there. Both are tuned with ABS on and are available in my storefront.

I'm using keyboard with all assists off except for ABS and manual transmission.

S1 Class 2015 BMW i8 performance review:
I will make a very short review about the V8 swap tune. It's a strong car that has great acceleration, surprisingly good high speed cornering and good brakes. This upgrade path is a similar path to my Mclaren F1 video and build where it's more horsepower focused. And trust me, the acceleration and high speed cornering, it can outperform quite a lot of cars.

Now onto the review of the build I've shown above which is the default engine, the star in this video. Surprisingly, the car is really balanced. It has decent acceleration, great handling and brakes, almost in par with the Lexus LFA and Jaguar XKRS in my previous videos. The handling is great at both low speed and high speeds. Despite the bad gear ratio which I will explain later, the engine can handle pretty well at a wide RPM range at low speed corners.

Now the downside is unfortunately the gear ratio. Do note this is just a nitpicking issue and the pros outweight the cons using this transmission. Now on flat roads, this is not an issue and the engine can handle low speed corners and exit smoothly with it's 4th gear (if I used 4th gear instead of 3rd at the first race, I would have won). Because I have to balance both acceleration and top speed (this build is limited to 211mph/338kph) and I'm using sports transmission which you can't adjust individual gears, the end result is a really awkward 5th and 6th gear ratio. Again this isn't an issue on flat roads and most tracks, the issue rises if you are happen to be at the speed between 5th and 6th gear shifts where it's too high RPM at 5th gear but too low at 6th gear and you are at an uphill slope or during a high speed corner. This little unlucky speed spot is the small difference where the Lexus LFA performs better slightly than this BMW i8 build.

Of course the cons mentioned above is a small issue but this BMW i8 is a really good balanced S1 class car beating quite a lot of cars. I highly suggest using manual tho, cause it's important to differentiate when to use 3rd gear and 4th gear at low speed corners.
