India Reaction Amid Trump UNGA Speech: The US delivered a significant message regarding India at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Amid tariff tensions, US President Donald Trump made a significant statement on India, Russia, and China, saying that India, China, and Russia are funding the Ukraine war. Some NATO countries are also doing the same. During Trump's UN speech, India's Foreign Minister, S. Jaishankar, responded, saying that the Global South is facing numerous challenges, including two major conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, and trade instability. Above all, the rights of developing countries in the international system are facing challenges today. Jaishankar called for reform of the United Nations and multilateralism. At a high-level meeting of "like-minded Global South countries," India made a significant statement without naming Trump. In his speech, Trump claimed that he ended the India-Pakistan and Israel-Iran wars. "I wish the United Nations had done this, but I had to do it." Trump said that some European countries are buying oil from Russia, and now Europe must immediately stop all energy purchases from Russia. The US has also refused to recognize Palestine.
