While on Google Earth I found a mountain range filled with man made structures. It got me curious as to what was going on so I did some research and found out that these structures were the abandoned mountain fortifications of a now collapsed empire; the The Austro-Hungarian Empire.

With this discovery I decided to go on a hiking adventure to go explore these abandoned military forts in person and what an adventure this turned out to be!
