Boots on the ground after dinner and straight into a creek crossing… and wet socks. We pushed to the rock face across from camp in the Colville National Forest and immediately hit a pocket of strangeness: our GoPro started warping/melting the image and panning by itself—no overheat warning, just pure glitch city. We also noted a scorched lone tree, bends, a clean X, odd limb placements, and multiple snakes (no rattles). Wrapped with a soggy hike back and plenty to review.
