Karim Barouche started Breaking in 1987, in Créteil, a South Paris suburb. He is from the second generation of Aktuel Force and he joined the legendary crew around 89, 1990.

With Aktuel Force, Karim performed for many years, bringing on stage a new approach of Breaking.

His unique style and flow got him the respect and recognition from his peers in the theatre world on one hand but also in the underground scene on the other. He is known to be one of the most influential Bboys in Europe. While the majority of Bboys had a very sporadic style, Karim and the rest of Aktuel Force brought that smooth and very circular way of breaking with a "feline touch", which without a doubt heavily influenced generations of Bboys all over the world.

Karim is most definitely a unique artist and a pioneer of his kind.
