Day 1 Kenshi - No Prior Knowledge, No Help! Suffering ahead

Kenshi is a famously complex game, or at least that's the reputation I had heard about it when I decided to take the game on. I went into Kenshi having only seen about 5 total minutes of gameplay, and I had very little idea about how to play Kenshi or even what it was.

So, I decided the most entertaining way to go about things would be to have my Kenshi first playthrough totally blind. I would look up nothing - not basics of how to play, not good beginner starts or meta strategies, nothing that was not contained in the in-game help, tutorial, or UI. This is the beginning of my journey through Kenshi with these restrictions.
