The LAXNAI Lacrosse North American Invitational is the world's premier box lacrosse tournament. It is hosted in the heart of New York, where the game was originally played by the Haudenosaunee people. The tournament takes place every year in the fall. The tournament took a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but returned to action in 2022 at the War Memorial Auditorium in Utica while the Nexus Center was being completed, and debuted at the Utica University Nexus Center the following year in 2023. The Nexus Center has three rinks, all of which will be used. The 2022 tournament premiered the inaugural women's exhibition, which led to a full women's division by the following year. There is also a U-18 and U-15 tournament. LAXNAI draws in teams from all over the world and features professionals from several leagues, including World Games, the National Lacrosse League, and the Premier Lacrosse League. The tournament is a great opportunity for players of all ages and skill levels to compete against the best in the world.
