2 years wedding anniversary - date night in London

Hi, everyone!! Finally I’ve got some time to film this part where I am explaining everything, so I will be able to put together the entire thing that you’re gonna see next: I am talking here about our two years wedding anniversary day, an H&M haul (it’s a short haul but it’s still a haul), a very exciting experience with the luxury chocolate company from the UK called Hotel Chocolat and a special date night in London! I can not wait to tell you more about this day but let’s start with the beginning!

Our two years wedding anniversary was on the 11th of June and we wanted to do something really special for that day. I can say that it’s already a tradition for us to have a really beautiful day together on the 11th of June: two years ago we’ve got the wedding, obviously, one year ago we’ve been on our honeymoon in The United States and we were having the best time in Las Vagas on that certain day and this year we’ve been in London but also it was a really nice day to remember.

H&M was our best partner in this plan for this year, so we’ve got the entire day planned by the H&M team, with all the best activities for a wedding anniversary. So we’ve been celebrating our anniversary for 24 hours straight and I will dig into it right now.

The Hotel Chocolat experience was our first activity for the day and early in the morning I started this unplanned try-on. I was really confused with my outfit because of the weather, you will see in the video. After so much time living here, I still can’t get used to it! Everyone is expecting to be quite warm outside in the middle of June but, of course, in London, that was not the case. Also, because I had no idea what we were meant to be doing in this chocolate factory, I wanted to wear something casual and comfortable, just to be ready for anything. All I really wanted was to wear for sure the white trainers and my white/cream bag so I had to figure it out what clothes I will find to work with these two pieces. Most of the clothing pieces I am wearing in this video are from H&M because at the moment I am absolutely obsessed with the brand, but I will link everything in the description box, as usual.

So yeah, after half an hour of changing looks we were ready to go to Huntington to the Hotel Chocolat Factory, here in the UK. This was a really interesting thing to do and everyone there was really really nice!

From Huntington, we were meant to travel back to London and here we’ve got a really cool room reserved at The Curtain Hotel in Shortage. I can not recommend more this hotel for an overnight stay in London as it’s really close to all the best areas of Central London and the rooftop views are amazing!

From here we’ve got the night planned already, we were meant to go to our anniversary dinner at half past 8, at the restaurant called Rabot 1745. The H&M team was really attentive to everything and they have booked a car for us to pick us up and to bring us back to the hotel at the end of the night. I have to tell you this restaurant was really unusual, with contemporary dishes with a cocoa theme, so the entire day was all about chocolate. I mean, we’ve got some mashed potatoes with cocoa, how does it sound? I know it sounds strange but, believe me, I would go back there only to eat more mashed potatoes like those ones. It was a really interesting place to eat and after that, we’ve been to on top of that iconic skyscraper of London, the Shard, for some more drinks. And this is another place I absolutely wanna recommend you if you are looking for the best views of London.
