Today I'm reviewing Screencastify as an affordable screen recorder and editor. This chrome extension is aimed at educators and Chromebook users as it fits nicely within the Google ecosystem and integrates with Google Classroom. I'll be demonstrating features of Screencastify Lite while highlighting the benefits of a premium subscription. There are some limitations for gamers as the Lite version only allows 10 minute recording, plus you can only trim and crop footage, not split and merge, although this is bound to change in the future.
