Join us on for an introduction into native Web Components. on Friday, Feb15th 12-1pm, in Building 36 Room S-107. Please RSVP early to Andre Young if you plan to attend. Web Components are a set of browser APIs that allow you to create custom and reusable HTML tags to use in your web pages and applications. These components are framework-agnostic (they work with Angular, Vue, React, Vanilla JS, etc.) and work across modern browsers. If you've ever heard of Polymer, Web Components are the APIs that Polymer is built on.

The Goddard Developer Group is a meeting of software engineers/developers and interested parties to collaborate and foster an open source community exchange of information and ideas. The group also focuses when possible on emerging technologies, common problems and solutions overcome while supporting GSFC. Topics will vary depending on the group’s interest. Guest speakers are brought in whenever possible to speak/present on various topics.
Topic suggestions are listed on the Agency GITHub instance. If you have ideas for future topics or recommendations for guest speakers please add them to the topic suggestions, vote on existing topics or email Andre Young. Feel free to forward this to any party you believe may be interested. Remember though that this meeting is aimed at developers and IT professionals. That said all interested parties are welcome.
