In this book author is trying to explain the connection between a big festival Diwali in India and story behind its celebration. He is telling his readers about the reason behind celebrating Diwali in India.
The story happened thousands of years ago in India. There was a Prince Rama and his wife Sita. They were sent to forest for 14 years by their father, due to the conspiracy of his step mother. In the forest Sita was kidnapped by demon Ravana. At the end Rama saved her from Ravana with the help of Hanuman and his monkey army, by killing Ravan.
