The Four Great Vows in ASL - 無関寺 - No Barriers Zen, ASL Buddhist Chant

Описание к видео The Four Great Vows in ASL - 無関寺 - No Barriers Zen, ASL Buddhist Chant

The ASL signs for the Buddhist chant 'The Four Great Vows', as signed by Rev. Ōshin Jennings, Deaf Buddhist monk, of No Barriers Zen.
These signs represent a collaboration with the No Barriers Zen sangha and the Village Zendo sangha. They are a way to sign-chant the frozen text, 'The Four Great Vows', as chanted by White Plum Asanga. These signs match the prosody of the vocalized chanting of these communities, it does not represent a perfect ASL translation of the chant.
