QOA Aviation - Fasten your Seatbelts and Prepare for Take-Off

QOA Aviation is the most recent release from QOA , a company that's under the Kinera Umbrella and as such shares many of the phylosophies,both in sound and design.

The Aviation is a true child of the Kinera doctrine, flawless build, stunning looks, unique sound!

The Aviation has 1+3 approach , with the 8mm custom DD handling the lower frequencies and the 3 Knowles BA taking care of the rest of the frequencies.

It's a beautiful IEM....the face plate art, the seemless 3d printed resin shell, the whole earphones exudes that premium feel that you expect from QOA and "demand" with its almost 200usd price tag!

Sound wise QOA opted for a safe approach, I'd call it a neutral "bright", although graphically you would think it's more V shaped.
It's got great mids, followed by very capable bass and then a treble that although adequate for the package is perhaps the "weakest link"

Technically it's again doing its job, with detail retrieval and timbre/tonality being the standouts.

Overall there's very little wrong with the Aviation, it's obstacle is one of competition.
Let me elaborate; there are a number of very competent sub 200usd iems that also bring their A Game, Seeaudio Yume2, Tanchjim Kara, Aful Performer 5, to mention just some, and what this means is that if you want to be the Alpha male you must show your dominance across all categories and the Aviation is more a Sigma male.
