Hamas Chief's Son Claims He Was Killed Using a Missile Tracking His Phone

Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh’s son Abdussalam Haniyeh has made stark revelations about his killing during an interview in Doha. Abdussalam Haniyeh reportedly said a guided missile tracking his father’s phone killed him and that his father became an easy target in Iran. The Hamas chief was killed on July 31 in Tehran. He was in Iran to attend President Masoud Pezeshkian’s inauguration. According to reports, Abdussalam Haniyeh believes that the killing was carried out with the US cover. Earlier, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) reported that the Hamas chief was killed by a short-range projectile carrying around 7 kilograms of explosives fired from outside the building. Iran has blamed the attack on Israel & has vowed to retaliate. Israel has not taken responsibility for the attack. Ismail Haniyeh’s killing has escalated tensions in West Asia. Meanwhile, an Israeli strike in south Lebanon killed 10, leaving five others injured. The strike marks one of the heaviest attacks on Lebanon since the Israel-Hamas war started.
