During the side quest, Lights, Camera, Action, one of your objectives is to win a game of Liars' Dice in Thieves' Landing. The ante is $200 as opposed to the usual $20 or $40. If you never leave the table you can keep playing the mini game for the higher ante and (in my case) win 600 dollars a game. After winning 30-ish games, you can earn up to $18,000, more than enough money to carry you through the game. As you can see here, after you win a certain amount the mini game can glitch out on you. For me, the dice tumbler glitched and stayed on the table, rendering me unable to see what numbers were on my dice.
