Located near the area known as the Deutsches Eck (the German Corner), the cable car ride (aka Seilbahn Koblenz) takes us up the
Ehrenbreitstein Fortress high up on a hill/mountain. We knew we wouldn't have time to do a detailed visit of the fortress, but the ride alone was well worth it. Some spectacular views going up there.
